Home to children from all over the world, Bahrain’s schools reflect the Kingdom’s diversity and sense of community.
Having been the first Gulf state to provide education for both males and females from the 1920s onwards, Bahrain has a heritage of learning and education that is reflected in its school systems.
UK, US and Lebanese curricula are taught to the highest levels in private international schools in the Kingdom. These schools are centres of learning for children of four to 18 and accommodate children from up to 50 different nationalities. It creates a learning environment that stimulates success, creativity and leadership. It enables children to learn about the world and form lasting friendships that extend far beyond the classroom walls.
A recent article in the UK newspaper The Guardian named St Christopher’s School in Bahrain one of the eight best international schools around the globe and when it comes to tertiary education, Bahrain is home to more than a dozen universities and colleges of local, regional and international repute.
